The procurement and supply management team at Etihad Aviation Group held its annual forum in Abu Dhabi entitled “Going Forward”, in the presence of more than 50 entrepreneurs from the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and the Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation. The forum included a workshop on the procurement policies and procedures in Etihad Aviation Group and business opportunities The most promising with the fund members.
Entrepreneurs have gained knowledge about ways to enhance the entrepreneurial environment for their projects, which enables them to develop their services and products.
Adel Al Mulla, Vice President for Procurement and Supply Management at Etihad Aviation Group, said: “We are constantly encouraging government agencies and major national companies to follow the Etihad Aviation Group model in supporting small and medium enterprises by reducing restrictions on contracting with them.”
